Open Ceramic Studio hours are great for individuals who want to practice what they have learned in a ceramic course and to hone thier skills. There is no instruction is provided during drop-in, participants are expected to have some expereince to be able to work independently. Studio techs are on site to monitor and provide information about studio policy and procedures only. Participants are welcome to use our studio tools and equipment however any clay that is fired at Arts underground must be purchased from our studio.

Life Drawing

Join our two hosts, Sheelah and Guillaume, the first two Sundays of every month for life drawing. This is a non-instructional program intended for those who are interested in improving their drawing skills. This drop-in offers a studio space surround by other artists with a nude model as a drawing reference. Bring your own tools supplies and creative spirit. Equipment such as easels and boards are provided for use by Arts Underground

The Underachievers

Dates: Starts September 18th

 Hosted by Juliann Fraser, this art club for burgeoning painters began in September 2016 for the purpose of establishing a community hub for a hobby that is often done in isolation. Since then it has enjoyed regular attendance by a number of emerging artists who specialize in various mediums, including watercolour, acrylic, oil, charcoal, pastels, and has expanded to include plein air outings organized by its members. Bring your own tools  supplies and creative spirit; equipment such as easels and boards are provided for use by Arts Underground.
