Come explore at least 13 ways to draw on clay with artist Nicole Bauberger. The class will experiment with colored slip, oxide washes, and underglazes, with techniques such as wet carving, leather hard carving, using colored slip and oxides, inlay, wiping back, and numerous others.

The options do not end with the kiln firing! Continue on your surface decoration explorations after the bisque and glaze firing with underglazes, underglaze pencils, metal leaf, glycol paints, and glass paints.

Students will learn a vast array of surface decoration techniques and will have 13 tiles and numerous pinch pots recording their 2D and 3D explorations.
