Value, colour and contrast

with Rebekah Senko

$5

Everyone can draw, but not everyone is confident at it; this is where we start. We will focus on improving our skills, of any level, by:

  • Changing and refining your observation skills.
We have a habit of drawing what we “think we see” and this is why observation skills are important to develop. We want to change how we see our subject to be able to draw accurately and efficiently the more we practice.

  • Understanding and applying the elements of design.
The elements of design are our fundamental tools to make art and they apply to drawing. During these four weeks you will discover why they are important and translate them to drawing. Each week will cover two - three elements to strengthen your practice.

  • Establishing a healthy drawing practice.
Just like everything else, if you want to improve you have to put the time in. The only difference is, after this workshop you will know what to practice and be able to apply it to any drawing you do in the future.

Rebekah will guide you in real-time while answering your questions about drawing. Let’s connect during this isolating time and make some art. You have the option to register for individual sessions or all of them.

If you wish to register someone 13 years or younger, it is best for a parent or another adult to participate with them.
