Want to make something by hand for gift-gifting this holiday season?
Join instructor Chris Scherbarth for two evenings and learn how to make small ceramic serving plates from start to finish. If you’re already familiar with hand-building, you can use this workshop to hone your skills and explore some new techniques.
Chris will demonstrate the basics of working with clay and launch you on three projects, each employing a different hand-building technique. At the end of the workshop, you should have bragging rights for having made a curved sushi plate, a small tray with mitered corners and an oval appetizer dish. Each item will be a one-of-a-kind piece owing to your unique design and glaze choices.
