Join instructor Sheelah Tolton in front of the S.S. Klondike National Historic Site for the exciting opportunity to draw a model in period costume! This relaxed class perfect for all skill levels will be broken into a first half of short poses to warm up with instruction on how to simplify paths of motion, shapes, and shadows in order to get the figure down quickly but accurately, while in the second half we will use the longer poses to focus more deeply on the nuances of rendering fabrics and fashion.

Bring your own sketchbook, pencil, sharpener, eraser and seating. Art supplies can be purchased from Underground Art Supplies either in person or in our online store.

In partnership with Yukon Historical & Museums Association and Parks Canada.
