In this introductory workshop, you’ll learn how to make ceramic objects without a potter’s wheel. Instruction will cover the core construction techniques of pinching, coil-building and slab-building, as well as how to apply glaze to pieces once they’re fired. Your project choices will include a cup, soap dish, spoon rest, small bowl, small serving tray or plate, mug, pitcher, and pen caddy.

While this workshop is designed for beginners, it is also suitable for anyone wishing to freshen their skills in order to tackle more challenging projects.
