In this workshop we will be making our own journals (2) and then will use writing, painting, collage and penwork to challenge ourselves creatively.

This workshop explores:
- writing prompts that make the base layer of the pages
- different painting techniques creating depth and texture
- collage exploration
- creative lettering techniques

The object of this workshop is to encourage rule-breaking, spontaneity, and fun in art making. To see examples, please see artwithanna.ca

• Feel free to bring a favorite fabric scrap for the front of your journal, and any personal pictures, magazines, etc you would like to use for collage. Not to worry if you do not have these, we will have options at the workshop.
