In this workshop, students will be using the hand-building techniques of pinching, slab construction, and unique detailing to create one-of-a-kind round-bellied mugs. Claire will share her whimsical surface decoration techniques, including underglazing, applying underglaze decals, making/applying clay appliques, glaze brushing, and dip glazing. Students will consider the composition results of each technique to finish their mugs in meaningful ways.

This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with previous clay experience.
