Arts Underground, Yukon Historical Museums Association and the Old Log Church Museum are teaming up in this workshop where an interpretive talk will be followed by an introductory class on sketching historical buildings. The instruction will cover three main topics: how to break down complicated looking facades into more simple shapes, how perspective affects what we see, and how to layer the different parts of the image to create depth. Students will then have a chance to practice their new knowledge with help of the instructor. With these tools, you will find new confidence in drawing the historical buildings of the Yukon.

Please bring a pencil, pencil sharpener, water soluble pen, sketchbook, and your own seating. Art supplies can be purchased from Underground Art Supplies either in person or in our online store.
