With support from the City of Whitehorse Recreation Fund, Arts Underground is excited to offer Teens in the Studio Series! Over 11 Saturdays, we are bringing in fantastic artists to share their skills with participants aged 13-18.
Teens are welcome to sign up for one or all of the evenings - see descriptions below! If cost is a barrier, please reach out to programs@artsunderground.ca. We want this to be barrier free for our teen participants.
Saturday March 8: Intro to Linocut Printing with Lisa Moore
Join artist Lisa Moore in carving lino blocks, which will be used to create one-of-a-kind frameable prints, stamp textiles, and make cards. Teens will learn the tips and tricks of linocut carving and printing and will take home numerous cards, prints, other creations, and their carved lino blocks to continue creating independently!
