This workshop will teach the fundamentals of watercolour painting, keeping details to a minimum by using a loose, interpretive style. We will focus on shapes, colours, lost and found edges, splatter, and expressive calligraphy.

Come prepared to experiment, let go of expectations, have fun and learn new techniques. Everyone will have ample time to play with the paints and complete a painting by the end of the class to take home.

All materials will be supplied, however, if you have your own paints and brushes, please bring those along. We will paint Yukon fireweed.
