This course is designed for studio users who have completed the Ceramics Level 1 course and are ready to further develop their throwing skills through structured practice and a series of fun drills. This course is targeted specifically at developing throwing techniques, and as such, trimming and glazing will not specifically be addressed in the course. Participants will keep a limited number of pieces from this class, as cutting our pieces in half or pushing the clay to its limits will be an important part of the learning process.

The cost of this course includes 1/2 bag of M340 clay.

Notes about this workshop:

  • This is not an intro workshop. Participants must have completed a Ceramics Level 1 workshop through Arts Underground, or an equivalent at another studio (approx. 21 hours of instruction)
