Zoom Portraits
with Annie Kierans
Thursday, April 29 | 6pm – 9pm
Free | supplies not included
Maximum 12 participants (pre-registration required)
Parameters can be a very helpful tool in art-making – limitations beget creativity. Amidst social distancing measures, live video chat platforms have been embraced across the world as a platform through which to connect with others. By using Zoom as a portal for live portraiture, we resist the typical pace and function of digital spaces made for call and response. Instead, we will take our time to observe each other through the screen with no need for the microphones. Join Dawson City-based visual artist Annie Kierans for this timely exercise!
This workshop will take place online via Zoom. Once you have registered, you will receive a link to join the event.
