Dakota Hagan | Good-Natured Ribbing

Dakota Hagan
Good-Natured Ribbing

EDGE GALLERY, JULY 7 - 29

Good-Natured Ribbing shares with its audience small moments of kinship. It focuses on the relationships between space, queerness and the natural world. The title implies that being part of LGBTIA2S+ community is not meant to harm anyone but rather leans into the joys and desires of the community itself.

DAKOTA HAGAN

Dakota is a queer settler who grew up on Treaty 6 territory also known as Saskatchewan. They recently moved to Whitehorse to pursue support work and connect with the queer community. Exploring many forms of making has always been a part of their practice and sense of being in the world. You can find them performing drag or writing poetry under the midnight sun.
