2020 Annual General Meeting & Special Members Meeting

This past year has been a busy one for the Yukon Art Society, and there’s still more to come. Curious about what we’re up to? Whether you’re a current Yukon Art Society member or you’re still on the fence, you’re invited to join us for our online Annual General Meeting on September 24th. Come meet our board members, and learn about some future plans for Arts Underground and Yukon Art Society.
Prior to the AGM, we will have a brief Special Members Meeting to vote on the following proposed motions in accordance with our requirements through the Societies Act.
Motion 1
That the Yukon Art Society adopt new society bylaws as attached for reference.
Motion 2
That the annual dues for a full individual membership in the Yukon Art Society be established at $50 plus tax.
Motion 3
That the YAS Board of Directors may from time to time establish discounts on the cost of individual membership dues (for example, by offering a "basic" membership with fewer perks, or a reduced fee for additional family or household members or out-of-town members).

Motion 4
That Yukon Art Society shortens its mandate to ‘To foster the creative and professional development of Yukon visual artists at all levels’.
