Join us for a Special General Meeting

Yukon Art Society Members are invited to join us on Thursday October 24, 2024 @ 6pm YST for a special general meeting. We will be passing the following Special Resolution:

Waiver of Requirement for a Financial Review by a Professional Accountant: 2024 Special Resolution - A motion to wave the requirement for a financial review for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

We will also be making changes to our bylaws to allow us to waive the requirement to have a financial review by a professional accountant each year. This will reduce the frequency of a financial review from once a year to once every three years.

If you'd like to read a copy of the bylaw changes, you can do so here. The meeting will be followed by a regular board meeting. If you are interested in joining our board of directors, send us an email board@artsunderground.ca, or join us at this meeting.

Voting is open to YAS members in good standing for the 2024-25 year. If you are unable to attend in person let us know so we can make accommodations to allow you to attend.
